Rosewood Events, A Petaluma Hidden Gem
Set amongst the rolling Petaluma hills, Rosewood Events wedding and event space are perfect for the couple looking for an outdoor, intimate, private celebration of love. There is plenty of space for every part of the day and really no need to leave the site. Less stress if everything is one place!
Let me tell you about Bryanna and Kevin’s wedding day at Rosewood. They got ready at the venue, the barn provided a great space for the guys to get ready and play a few rounds of pool or hang out outside to get a little air before the ceremony. Bryanna got ready in the adorable cottage on the property and looked radiant in her dress from Sarah Seven as she got her makeup done by Audrey Crandall and hair by Madelyn Curcio.
There are a few different areas you can choose to have a ceremony, Bryanna and Kevin had theirs on a big open field, situated with golden rolling hills behind them. Before that, guests entered the ceremony by an ancient willow tree where they could sign the welcome book. The natural beauty of this venue is enhanced with the feeling that there are no neighbors and it’s just you and your party.
The staff and Jen Terwilliger (wedding planner) at Rosewood Events are so helpful and made the transitions from first looks to the ceremony to reception seamless! Which adds to the fairytale-like surrounding experience. When you don’t have to stress, you can truly be in the moment.
From the ceremony, guests moved to a separate space shaded by giant Redwood trees where they enjoyed cocktails. Gorgeous florals from Vanda Flora Design decorated the event spaces with just the right amount of arrangements. Then everyone migrated to a ginormous tent, provided by Rosewood Events, for food from Preferred Sonoma Caterers. The reception was lively, full of dancing, and I can’t wait to shoot there again! Rosewood Events is a perfect wedding venue for those looking to have a gorgeous outdoor wedding.
