I walked through my teenaged son's room, (still can't believe I have a teenager btw), and I saw one of our family photos taken years ago still hanging in his room. He has cleared out his room of all his Legos, books, toys, and anything from his ‘kid past,’ but the family photos have stayed (I’m so glad we made the cut).
He has one of my favorite ones on the corkboard, where he and his sister are laughing and squishing up next to each other, It’s one big family squish; it captures that moment. I get a little choked up; those were such special moments in our lives.
