Love At First Country Concert
Tim and Katie met at a country music concert and much like Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, their connection was instant. Fast forward to the wedding day – this fun, sometimes wild, but big-hearted couple held their wedding ceremony at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church and then had the classiest San Francisco City Club wedding reception.
A Space For Loved Ones
Katie looked absolutely stunning in her dress with make-up done by Ashley Jahns and hair by Jenn P from Didi Salon. The florals by Unskripted Design tied everything together with classic pastel colored roses. A simply gorgeous bride with a groom who couldn’t look away from her.
Both Tim and Katie are big-hearted people. It wasn’t surprising to see how big their friend group is, and how they act more like family than just friends. It made for a wonderful wedding day full of laughter, love, and borderline roast sessions at dinner. You could tell how much their friends love these two! Both the bridal party and the groomsmen were beaming from ear to ear as the “I do’s” were said.
Fun Fact: Katie was also baptized at St.Dominic’s! Full circle.
I loved shooting this wedding ceremony. St.Dominic’s is a huge beautiful church with gorgeous stain glassed windows and breathtaking architecture. It really created a beautiful space for Tim and Katie’s adoring friends and family to celebrate their love.
Art Deco Amongst The Cityscape at this San Francisco City Club Wedding
Having a San Francisco City Club wedding reception is nothing short of breathtaking. With its classic downtown city vibe, the timeless art deco details are beautiful and make for an interesting view against a vibrant city backdrop. We went onto the roof and grabbed a couple of portraits before heading into the cocktail hour.
Speeches are usually the highlight of the reception for me, and these did not disappoint! You know who your true friends are if they can roast you on perhaps your biggest day. Katie and Tim had belly-aching funny speeches from their friends.
Later Katie and her father did an adorable dance that they’ve been doing since Katie was a little girl.
The night went on with lots of dancing and new memories made. Cheers, Katie and Tim! To many more country concerts, dances, and maybe fewer roasts.
