Brad and Jen are an adorable couple that has a deep love for each other based on friendship and respect. The couple had requested an engagement shoot at a location that was woodsy. I gave them a few options, and they ultimately decided on a place neither they or I had been. A San Francisco Lovers’ Lane engagement shoot wound up being a perfect choice! It is a woodsy place with beautiful natural lighting, not to mention there was barely anyone around, which made for a fantastic engagement shoot!
This session was so much fun. We walked and talked, as they enjoyed the gorgeous park and each other’s company. Jen did mention that they are both are super silly and feel awkward in front of a camera, but I beg to differ. I had the pleasure of capturing their silly side as they were cracking up while together on the engagement shoot. I was also happy to capture an intimate side of them. A relationship with both of these sides is such a good balance to keep things loving and fun in the years to come.
Both Jen and Brad have musical backgrounds. Jen plays the guitar (and is in a punk band) and Brad plays the bass! Brad has two adorable kids that Jen just loves. Brad is from the Midwest and Jen from the Bay Area, and they are both over the moon excited for their wedding in Half Moon Bay at La Nebbia. I can’t wait to take photos of the whole family staying true to their vision of having natural photos and being able to enjoy their wedding among all their friends and family!
