It was a real privilege to take pictures of Sarah and Marshal’s sweet Berkeley City Club vintage wedding. I fell in love with the Berkeley City Club at once. It has such beautiful architecture with the loveliest details, and the atrium is perfect for portraits. Sarah’s long lace gown from BHLDN was the perfect complement to all the gorgeous backdrops.
The bride and bridesmaids had a blast the night before putting together their own florals. They used ivy and flowers from Fifty Flowers and designed the bouquets themselves. The bride’s bouquet was very impressive, with long trails of ivy. What a great way to build memories!
The Maid of Honor is an opera singer; for her speech she sang a song for the couple, which made the bride tear up. And then, to continue the music theme, Marshal and Sarah had invited two swing dance teachers that got everyone out dancing and taught them some basic moves. That was pretty fun to watch and everyone was cracking up – it got people out dancing that wouldn’t normally have joined in.
